The OisF Riders - Girls Surf Collective

The OisF Riders - Girls Surf Collective is a surf-inspired, preventative program for girls in New Jersey. Through surf-focused events, beach activities, and community service projects, The OisF Riders - Girls Surf Collective helps girls grow in confidence, discover their inner strength, and become ripples of good - supported by a community of girls that lift each other up as they learn to ride life’s waves.

As a fee-based initiative, The OisF Riders - Girls Surf Collective helps fund our “Surf & Swim Sponsorships for Children”, through which The Ocean Is Female pays for boys and girls who have been abused or exposed to domestic violence to attend surf or swim camp in the summer at no cost - providing opportunities for healing, joy, and a safe connection to the ocean.

We are in the process of planning a one-day, ocean-centered empowerment and leadership event that will introduce girls to surfing in a supportive, fun environment - with guidance from female role models in the surf community - and will use the ocean as the classroom to build confidence, connection, and healthy boundaries. It is our vision that The OisF Surf, Sea & Sisterhood Day will become a cornerstone of our ocean-centered prevention model for girls.
