Surf Camp with Hammer Surf School

The OisF has a partnership in place with Hammer Surf School for this camp sponsorship opportunity.  If selected, participants will receive five 3-hour group surf lessons from HSS, which can be scheduled by the participant on days/times throughout the summer that work best for them (the dates of the surf sessions do not need to be consecutive).  All lessons will be in a group setting with other kids who have registered for camp through HSS directly.

There are HSS camp locations in Spring Lake, NJ; Seaside Park, NJ; and Lavallette, NJ.  You can learn more about HSS Surf Kids’ Camp for ages 7-11 here and HSS Teen Group Surf Camp for ages 12-15 here.   

This Program is open to any boy or girl who has been abused or exposed to domestic violence.  Boys and girls ages 7 and up are encouraged to apply. Siblings are welcome to apply together. Participants will receive a special code to book all sessions online directly with Hammer Surf School.  Applicants must be able to swim, but no surfing experience (or experience in the ocean) is necessary! 

Swim School with Neptune Aquatic Center

The OisF has a partnership in place with Neptune Aquatic Center in Neptune, NJ for this sponsorship opportunity.  If selected, participants will receive four 45-minute swim lessons with NAC, which can be scheduled by the participant during a week that work best for them.

This Program is open to any boy or girl who has been abused or exposed to domestic violence.  Boys and girls ages 5 and up are encouraged to apply. Siblings are welcome to apply together. Participants will receive special instructions from The OisF on how to book.  No swimming experience is necessary!
